In this guitar lesson, our young teacher Cameron will teach you the melodic minor modes. This scale consists of seven notes, combining whole and half steps in several combinations to produce different feelings and moods. This awesome scale is basically a minor scale with a raise 6th and 7th. Each mode has its own name and sound, such as:
melodic minor, Dorian b2, lydian augmented, lydian dominant, mixolydian b6, locrian #2 and altered.
Ok, hope you like this lesson and don´t forget to come up with your own ideas, which is the best advice for starting to find `your´ unique sound and style. That is all for today… Also we suggest that you keep enjoying and learning from Cameron and all the staff at Guitarcontrol.com! Where? In our free guitar lessons at www.youtube.com/guitarcontrol
