In this guitar lesson, Jon MacLennan will teach you a common jazz turnaround which is really important if you want to get into jazz guitar and music, so please check out this lesson.
So, what is turnaround? A turnaround is a chord progression that is used for bringing a chord progression back to the tonic key and start a new progression. Turnarounds are commonly used during the last two bars of a piece and there are tons of different ways of playing it. So today we are going to see only an example in C major, but there are an endless amount of possibilities…
Ok, hope this helps and don´t forget to come up with your own ideas, which is the best advice for starting to find `your´ unique sound and style. That is all for today… Also I suggest that you keep enjoying and learning from Jon MacLennan and all the staff at Guitarcontrol.com! Where?
